Refreshing Summer Drinks – cold-pressed juice, teas and sparkling water!

There’s nothing like an ice cold refreshing drink in the hot heat. Here are my latest healthy picks:

1915 Organic is made with pure, simple ingredients. My full lineup is above and the BEST flavor is definitely the Apple, Grapefruit, Peach, Raspberry. It includes nothing more than those four ingredients, no added sugars. Chilled and served over ice, these have become part of my morning routine to get my metabolism going. Cold pressed juice is made by cutting and pressing fresh fruit and vegetables without adding heat. Because no heat is applied to extract the juice from the produce, more of the ingredients’ nutrients and taste are left intact. They also make protein drinks with 12 grams of protein per bottle (from soymilk, almondmilk and pea protein).

Sometimes you just need a break from all the caffeine! Just Chill supports a calm, focused mindset with no stimulants. Their secret weapon is L-Theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, which has been clinically shown to help reduce stress and increase focus without causing drowsiness. They use a premium form of L-Theanine, called Sun-Theanine (15X the ammount in green tea) to help keep you calm and collected. If you really want to chill combine this with 2oz tequila, dash of agave, sliced lime, cucumber and crystallized ginger.

Found Beverages are all natural sparkling waters with unique flavors such as the Watermelon Basil above. Only 62 calories and 14G sugar, it’s a great alternative for soda drinkers. A crisp, sweet taste and I love their visually appealing packaging!

Hiblisscus Blends has several varieties but my favorite is the green tea. The drinks are formulated using the dried calyxes of the Hibiscus flower – the Hibiscus sabdariffa or, Roselle species.
Drinks made from the Hibiscus flower have been used for thousands of years in different cultures to promote a healthy lifestyle; an amazing brew that has offer centuries of traditional enjoyment and vigor. I love the taste and chill it in the freezer to make it extra cold!
